Leaving your driver's license behind?

Wauwatosa police didn't need to look far for the man accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from a construction site.

According to a police report obtained by 12 News, the suspect left his driver's license at the scene.

Investigators say $200,000 in custom pipes and nearly $14,000 in tools were taken from a shipping container behind Lindenmeyer Munroe Paper earlier this month.
When police caught up with the suspect, he tried to run but was eventually brought in for questioning, according to the report.
