1. My first ferret

I would come home from jogging and remove my shoes and put them on top of a shelf I had made from those modular grid squares (perfect ladder for a ferret), and go to the bathroom to wash my face. In the span of 20 seconds, my ferret would climb the shelf (3.5 feet tall), knock off my shoes, climb down, and have one of the Dr. Scholls shoe inserts halfway out. I have no idea why she loved those things, but before I started putting them higher and higher up, I would spend 10 minutes looking for them when I wanted to go to the gym.

I eventually had five ferrets. My last one passed a half a year before I moved out of state, putting a lot of stuff into storage. When I moved the fridge on a dolly, soooo many things stolen by my ferrets fell out of the bottom.
