How Many of You Have Come Across Stamped Money?

Not specifically the Tubman $20, just any bill with a stamp on it. What was the message?

FWIW I cannot remember ever having any stamped bills. Bills that have been written on, yes, but not stamped with a message.

1. People used to draw Leonard Nemoy out of the Canadian 5 dollar

bill that had an old time Canadian Prime Minister on it. There was quite a likeness. But it didn't mean anything like Harriet Gunman does.

3. Don't know who figured it out ...

If you fold an old $1 and an old $5 in half lengthwise, and then place the bills together to form a Washington/Lincoln hybrid (Washington's hair on top), it is the spitting image of our high school principal.

The resemblance was uncanny.

5. Who does figure these things out? One thing for sure...the GOP does

not want any of their base connecting with heroes of darker complexions, be it Tubman or Obama. That much is so obvious. And not hard to figure out because it keeps happening at their direction.

Saw someone do it once. They just Spocked the eyebrows and drew in dark hair and it was exact.

2. I used to see the Where's George stamp pretty frequently

but haven't seen one in quite a few years now. I think it was a way to somehow see how far your bill traveled?

11. Well, that was a pleasant way to spend 20 minutes

There was one (I think the third top traveled) that had a report from Saguache, CO. I've been through there plenty of times. Huge town of 500!

4. I had rubber stamps made that said "Impeach Bush" and "Torture Is UnAmerican"

Over the Bush years, I stamped hundreds of dollars...

7. I try to write a '#TrumpTreason' hashtag on every bill I get....

It's fun, and hopefully, it'll make the next recipient think a little....
