Appeals to kids but plenty of jokes for adults.

... I watched it, and should have stopped. I really disliked it. It's not a kids movie, and not for adults. Lot's of throwback shots to classics such as Jurassic Park, E.T., and other stuff that seemed like I'd already seen somewhere.
