Is it true that Winnipeg was originally 'Winapig' because a pig was a prize for the winner of the naming contest?

Is true that Manitoba is changing its name to Womanitoba?

Is it true doctors have found a cure for Winnipegosis?

Canada is one day ahead of the US, as during WWII, to ensure the Axis powers didn't attack when everyone was in church, they moved Canada a day ahead.

after lake Winnipeg. We are fortunate in Canada that we 'named' so many places after their indigenous names.
