There was a branch in my tree that snapped off...

and was just hanging there freely wedged between two other branches.

It was maybe a foot or foot and a half above me.

I thought I would just jump up and grab it to remove it from the tree.

When I tried to jump with my arm stretched out, I came about one inch off the ground, swinging my arm wildly. When I landed from my super high jump, I jolted my spine and got out of breath.

I casually looked around to make sure no one saw me, then I went back into the house.
