A dialog from today.
Him: "Hey, man, you look American?"
Me: "Good call"
Him: "Can you tell me where I am?"
Me: "Just west of Paris, in a suburb called Neuilly. In general you'll do better with English here than in Paris itself."
Him: "So I'm trying to get back to my hostel. It's in the 'vingtième'?"
Me: "Of course it is. And what you're going to do is get on this train and ride it until it stops, and then ask a local about the hostel."
Him: "Paris is fucking baller, man. I've never partied like this before. I need to get back to the hostel because there's this incredibly hot girl there. She said she wants to hang out tonight."
Me: "I'm sure she will introduce precisely zero trouble into your life, bro."
Him (clueless to my point): "Yeah"
