36. Funny anecdote about that song.

Three Dog Night hated that song and didn't even want to record it. They thought it was stupid. The band was on tour in Europe when the manager woke them up to tell them that it had hit #1 in the US. They thought he was messing with them and threatened to fire him for waking them in the middle of the night.

29. That passle of cats and kittens reminds me of my sister's collection

of farm cats.

There are always a couple or three momcats with litters, and their kits grow up to have litters and so on.

Many years ago, our other sister and I were visiting the farm and I walked out on the patio and the whole area was covered in black cats. I think there was maybe one calico and one tortie and possible a tuxedo. Somewhere I have some great pictures.

Anyway, fast forward several years and there are still a lot of cats in the yard but now they are about 90% gingers with a few outliers. (tortie, calico again).

I find it fascinating how the genetics changed that much!
