Going into San Francisco everyone pays a toll, but you don't pay when you leave San Francisco. They're also building a new Bay Bridge which will be much better looking and more earthquake secure than the old one, which is also around 75 years old.

No? I think I read that somewhere. I know some people are quite rightly enraged about it.

I don't know if it's the truth but they're claiming the part they're using Chinese steel for is because what they need isn't manufactured here. I have no idea what the truth is since I haven't followed this story. The project was started by Schwartzennegger so it could be he just didn't want to create jobs here.
