It was a pretty good day, overall. I feel like I did good medicine. I feel like that less and less nowadays. So any good day is a boost to the spirits.

We moved from Seattle about a month ago. It’s different. I like it but miss the old hood, you know?

How do you feel about moving? Have you done it much?

My dad was career Army.

I've lived in my current place for fifteen years. That's more than twice as long as I've lived anywhere else. It's nice to put down roots. I hate moving.

Yeah, between the AF and a mother who went through a long, brutal death (so we lived with grandparents a lot) I went to ten schools in twelve years. But it was back and forth so I wasn’t always a total stranger. I’ve got a strange combo of falling in love with some places but when it’s time to go, okay.

I’m about done though.

With some time at Chanute in Illinois and Columbus AFB, but mostly Biloxi and Pascagoula, and later I lived in New Orleans.
