Ya want crazy spelling that has nothing to do with the letters used? Try words with the same letters that have different pronunciations: bough, cough, through, thorough, enough, drought, ought, hough, hiccough, trough.

The 2-word verb "get up" with or without direct and indirect objects has a couple dozen different meanings. "Set up" has even more.

Strange and exotic is the language we use here.
