Sigh...I hate that my cat loves me!

Cider is the fuzzy orange and white kitty.

I know he loves me because he's constantly in my lap trying to groom me. I'd find it sweet if that tongue of his wasn't so much like sandpaper and he'd stop going over the same area time and time again.

Have a cat that licks my arm...so I make sure it is clean from elbow down to wrist. It is my job to move the arm...or so I have learned.

But Cider insists on licking that one area. He'll grab my hand and hold it, just so he can lick beneath my thumb. It's very distracting, especially when I'm typing.

On the days he's really into it, I'll pick him up and put him back on the floor. He turns and leaps at my hand. He WILL get his way. I am nothing but his plaything.

It's just the easiest spot for him to get to as it's the hand that rests nearest the open spot on the table where he can sit and annoy me.

After awhile, I noticed I had a weeping wound there ...

Beware the power of the Kitty Tongue!
