Movie legend Robert Redford told the Russo Brothers on the set of Avengers: Endgame that it would be his last role on film ever.
It was a surprise when an actor of his caliber in Robert Redford originally joined the cast of Captain Ameria: The Winter Soldier. Despite Robert Redford’s Alexander Pierce dying in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the actor made an unexpected appearance in Avengers: Endgame. This was a shock to many because Robert Redford originally said 2018’s The Old Man & the Gun was going to be his last film.
