Hailstorms don't usually last that long. Be careful.

All heavy rain now...lightning, thunder, wind. I have a puddle under my office desk. My surge strip is laying in the puddle, so I have my feet propped up. LOL.

(66,035 posts)2. Almost every morning here in formerly drought ridden Kansas I wake up to either rain or the
wetness left over from the previous night's rain.
Last night, despite usually being spared the sounds because of my severe hearing impairment, I was startled several times by the loud cracks of thunder.
At least we are no longer suffering drought in Kansas.
