Get home from church at 9:45 am and no commitments until Monday morning at 8! A great day to be lazy!

I'm at work (11-10 today) and it's slow and humid as hell. Off Mon & Tues, so YAY!! Can't wait.

Advantage of living in a small southern town...most people are at church till noon. I shopped at 10-11 in the am, worked from 1 pm till 9pm. Perfect schedule for us night owls.
Works well in retirement too.

(16,902 posts)11. I know. I miss my 3:00 - 11:00 shift so much.
They have me back on 9 - 6, M-F, and I do not like it at all. In October it's supposed to change to 10:15 - 7:00, which is a little better. I'm really hoping an evening shift opens up, though.
