I remember NPR doing the 40th anniversary. Kind of sad that it's already the 45th.

to mark the 20th anniversary titled, appropriately enough, "It was 20 years ago today..."

It's hard to believe that now even that program was 25 years ago

It was forty-five years ago today that we heard about Sgt. Pepper teaching the band to play 20 years previous to that.

So......yeah.

Great stuff though.

I think it had the best take on that period I've seen. It managed to convey the playfulness mixed in with the heaviness as has no other production of which I know. I hope someone posts it to you tube.

I suppose I am in the minority and they may have had a good song here or there on some of their other albums.

I was never a big beatles fan, Hey Jude almost makes me puke, especially the long version.

Most of their music was just too boring for me, way too many good bands in the '60s to have to listen to those boring guys.

Yes I was a teenager in the '60s.
