5. This is the Yale Precision Marching Band which is anything but.

Their whole existence is based on satirizing the big marching bands of the big 10 schools...I see them every year at the Yale Games in the Yale Bowl. A couple of years ago Paul mcCartney attended the Harvard Yale Game (THE GAME as it is called). He has a grandson at yale.

8. The USC school colors are garnet and black.

That's the University of South Carolina. I used to have a t-shirt which was garnet with "The USC" on it. Since I lived in L.A. at the time, I got a lot of angry stares.

Our teams were named the "Gamecocks," which of course resulted in this school spirit tee:
