Nothing looks cartoonish, but it's like they replaced his face with someone else's.

Why someone naturally blessed with good looks messes it all up with plastic surgery is beyond my understanding.

looking better or younger. They always look freakish and while it may get rid of some wrinkles and sagging skin, it is always plainly obvious that it is an old person who is desperately trying to look young again.

I used to see so many of these people in NYC, especially on the UES and I actually felt sorry for them. Sorry that they felt like they needed to go under the knife to be presentable. I have also seen some very attractive people (even beautiful people) who have resisted the temptation and who have aged gracefully.

Yes, they might have a few more wrinkles and imperfections, but there is something about being comfortable in one's skin and acceptance that can make a person's inner beauty and personality shine through.

My take..when 50 /60 year old gets the wrinkle pulled out the result can be a puppet like appearance.

When I see the Goldie Hawns and the Meg Ryans in Hollywood, trying to remain relevant as actors, I always think of Judy Dench and Maggie Smith (certainly older than the two Americans) who have embraced who they are and given us memorable performances. Goldie and Meg look absurd. They are both fine actors and by trying to stay younger than the calendar says they are. They get the "work" done in order to get jobs, but make themselves look ridiculous instead.

At age 38, Maggie Gyllenhal was told she was too old to play the love interest of a 55 year old actor. There are still good parts for older British actresses.

I think I would move to London! Helen Miren seems to be holding her own over there. The youth culture here is ridiculous. I finally chose to embrace my inner sage and let my 66 year old hair go white. Very liberating!

would never be allowed to star on American TV. other british series.. older men and women, not a lot of makeup, no big fake white teeth, no nose jobs... so different from american tv.

And is now sort of a free-lance MC for corporate conferences. You know how often you're shocked to see that someone you used to know has aged (of course, WE haven't aged <G&gt . Well, this guy looked the same... only his skin was so taut, he looked like a doll.

I have engaged in a bit of plastic surgery to fix something, so I'm not prudish about it. But there's a point where these facelifts leave us looking way worse than we would have being saggy. Looking older is normal... looking TIGHT is not.

of "the next one" correcting unwanted changes leads to some ghastly results.

It would be interesting for comparison to take a magical look at what he'd look like now naturally.

They can't stop, even though multiple surgeries can lead to disastrous consequences.
