and my phone rang. Dodged into the Dunkin' Donuts to park and take the call. I ended up in the corner spot, in front of a stone wall with ivy climbing up it. At the base of the wall were a variety of conifers--pine, cedar, juniper. It was so beautiful my heart went pitter patter.

Yeah, I get the usual hugs and "hi" from the fam, but my beagle granddog brings a smile to my heart...lots of doggy happy dancing, kisses, and face licks, and then he parks by my side for my entire visit.

There's something very special about the love for and from the family furbaby!

When strolling down a deserted supermarket aisle - the whole supermarket was almost deserted - there stood a lone tall gentleman looking at products near what I needed...
I stared at him in profile a few seconds and finally asked:

"Excuse me, do people tell you that you look like John Kerry?"

"All the time," he answered in that unmistakable voice.

Yep, it was SO unexpected that my heart went pitter-pater for a second.

I posted about it yrs ago.

That was the last time.
