5. Someone posted this on DU this week and I shared it but didn't

know if she only had two puppies and if some had died. My mom and sister think that some died but since she could smell them really well and knew exactly where they were and was super determined to save them I don't think she'd leave any puppies down there. Wouldn't she have smelled all of her puppies and made sure they were all pulled out before she left the area to nurse any of them?
