I have been chased by dogs plenty of times. I only had a horse bite me and another one stepped on my foot and refused to get off. I had to take my shoe off and hop away. I did sneak out for a smoke as a kid, but it wasn't tobacco. I hate tobacco in all of its disgusting forms.

I was kind of pushing it on farm animals. I used to run around and under horses in Colorado and was freaked by headless chickens running in circles. Tipped over cows in Oregon and a girlfriend got kicked by a mustang when we wee walking from border station to border station, Guatemala to Mexico.

I skipped school quite a few times, once while being scolded by a middle school teacher. I simply ran away, jumped the fence, and that was that. I spent the rest of the day poking around in the nearby creek.

The school called my mom in a panic and she told them something like, "Oh, don't worry about him. I'm sure he'll be home for dinner." And I was.

I was a danger to myself and others on the jungle gym.

I never got past the second square in four square. My great grandma had a crab-apple tree. I never have seen any point to wearing clothes when swimming. Everything is going to get wet anyways.

Roosters are the nastiest farm animals I've been chased by. Some of those little fuckers are MEAN!

1. Fell off jungle gym (or some other playground equipment - highly likely. We lived 8 doors down from the elementary school I attended, and we were at the playground all the time, unsupervised. It would never have occurred to my parents to sue the school district or town if I'd gotten hurt. (late 1950s-early 60s)

3. Drank out of a pump - I still love the sound of a squeaky old-fashioned pump

4. S'mores - a few times/ nothing that I crave and like a few other DUers here, not a big fan of marshmallows, altho they are better partially burned and melted than "raw."

5. Skinny dipping - only once, as a young adult, coming home after an exhausting 3-11 shift in my first hospital nursing job on an non-air conditioned unit in a hospital built in 1925. I was still living with my folks, and it was our own back yard above-ground pool, so not very daring.
