A Day at Disney California Adventure

Sometimes, you just need to let go and let the inner child out of your tired, old body. Well, that’s what we did when we visited Disney California Adventure Park!

I loved the Cars ride! Are those two ladies related?

3. The Cars ride is my favorite ride at DCA!

Yes, they're both sisters. Neek is my wife and Sar is my sister-in-law!

2. I only got to visit there one time.

It was for a corporate event and the park was otherwise closed off. They had some rides open, but many weren't. Free beer and wine, though. Seemed like a nice place, from what little I remember.

4. Free beer and wine? Great deal!

That's one of the things I like about DCA, pretty easy to get wine and beer there. It's always changing though, lots of rides I went on this time that I hadn't been on before.

5. At first, yes.

Problem was, I had to fly home the next day. I was so hung over, it felt like the captain left the cockpit to come back to my seat and personally squeeze the sides of my head. I was nauseous most of the flight. Then, I had 35 minutes to change planes at DFW, on opposite sides of the airport, no less.

Crappy, crappy day.
