...an 8 week summer school class that crammed in 2 semesters of organic chem. Pure torture.

Actually going to class would have been more helpful but I could make $10 an hour working then, which was a lot of money back when gasoline was less than a dollar a gallon. It was just too damned easy to say "yes" whenever the agency called at 5:30 in the morning.
I thought I could make up for the classes I missed by subscribing to A.S. class notes, but then I'd fall asleep while I was studying, most especially the o-chem notes. I did get an "A" in my environmental chemistry class.
