Nor do you see piles of skeletons under trees, of those that stayed up and fell out when they died.

5. sometimes they stay up there for days as if they can't get down but I didn't realize 1000s of cats

(with those claws that got them up there) wouldn't eventually climb down. Maybe the owner is too anxious to wait it out???

7. yes. cats can point their body downward and creep down the trunk of the tree or creep down butt 1st

12. Sure, but out here they are hawk-bait (or owl) if they stay there too long.

And lest you doubt that I have a special "burial bush" in the open space near my home that I give the remains of rabbits, squirrels, bird and yes, the occasional cat their final resting place. Over the past five years, it has gotten a "rainbow bridge" worth of animal "souls".
