(with those claws that got them up there) wouldn't eventually climb down. Maybe the owner is too anxious to wait it out???

And lest you doubt that I have a special "burial bush" in the open space near my home that I give the remains of rabbits, squirrels, bird and yes, the occasional cat their final resting place. Over the past five years, it has gotten a "rainbow bridge" worth of animal "souls".

(Yes, he got down on his own)
