Looks like I have a new rescued feline niece

Her back story: My brother owns a ‘banked’ roller derby track. He was checking the back door to the building when he saw something dash in front of him, stop and then dash back, full of meows. It didn’t take long to figure out it was a cat, and not a feral one. Fortunately he had some pouches of wet food, in his car, so he opened one and the cat gobbled it down. Followed by another. He didn’t want to risk taking her home, since he didn’t know if she might be carrying something - fleas or worse - so he set up water, food, ran out to buy a litter box and put her inside the building, for the night. For a couple of days she ruled that roost. Today he took her to the vet, and after testing she’s proven to have a clean bill of health. The vet figures she’s about 2 and in VERY good health. She’s been spayed so she WAS someone’s pet. My brother has posted info on her to see if anyone can identify a particular feature and then claim her, but so far he’s heard nothing. He said he will keep trying for 2 more weeks, and if no one claims her, she's got a home with him and Dude. He’s named her ‘Banksy’. She came to meet me, straight after her trip to the vet. I got her stoned on cat nip.

2. She is a beauty, and very friendly. She made herself right at home.

The vet said she had some 'flea dirt' but no active infestation. Her fur was a little matted and she was pretty thin, she she showed up. It was just perfect timing, for both of them.

missing her. Might not be a locsl person. Pets can get loose when travelling.

17. Her photo is on several 'lost pets' sites.

He's also stopped by local pet stores, checking for any flyers and giving them info about her. She has one distinguishing physical feature that he's keeping to himself, so if anyone does claim her, he can ask them to identify that feature.

From her condition when she and bro found each other, she'd been out there for (at least) several weeks. Someone could have just dropped her off, or maybe she got loose from someone without regular internet access.
