I always like the whistling in the opening credits.
But this Mayberry as an all-white town ... well, a good reminder of how pernicious and persistent segregation was on TV. Still is, really.
There's a "Mayberry Cafe" in a town near here, and it plays that show on 5 TVs all the time. "Aunt Bee’s Famous 3 Piece Fried Chicken Dinner"
