I've got tickets to the MST 3000 LIVE: Circus of Horrors show, on Sunday. It is going to be at the Flint Capitol Theater. I haven't been inside that building in decades, and can't WAIT to see the newly restored interior.

(2,886 posts)the cheap seats are over $100 which for my fixed income is a bit much....so I will continue enjoying the show on Pluto TV.
Cheers...

(26,262 posts)Tickets are between $31 and $50. Genesee County residents get an additional discount.
My niece bought the tickets so I'm buying dinner.

(2,886 posts)Its at a renovated fine arts movie house (so maybe a smallish venue). I'll check the web site again as I may have read it wrong....I'm an old nerd....

(3,628 posts)We're going to a show next week! So excited. We saw Joel and company back in 2010 in Detroit when they were doing a live version of Cinematic Titanic. Got to speak with he and the others in the post-show meet and greet. We were disappointed when they disbanded CT, we had purchased all of the DVDs they made and the live shows were a hoot.
We have most of not all of the original shows on DVD (many on tape), as well as the CT DVDs and some of the Rifftrax DVDs Mike and Bill did. And, we're fans of the new version of MST3k as well.

(3,628 posts)For those sitting on the fence about going, if you can afford to do so, I highly recommend it. Our performance included the movie Circus of Horrors, and they did an amazing job riffing it. The host spots were like the old show: some laughs mixed with endearingly low-budget effects, and some audience inetraction. There were quite a few call-backs to the old show, which were met with rousing approval.
Speaking on behalf of Roger and Gene, I give it two thumbs up
