As far as I know, All the Swensen's in the SF Bay Area closed decades ago (same with Ferrell's, for those who remember)

The BC stores are part of froyo stands in movie theaters. Almost all the,other stores are in Asia- I'm guessing the brand name was bought out years ago. They were everywhere in the 70's and 80's.

I was a basic hot fudge girl, sometimes I'd do choc chip ice cream, but I wan't a fancy over the top ice cream person. Loved just a scoop of Black Walnut or Bubble Gum, depending on the mood

But OH! The Grilled Crab-salad sandwich! That shit was the BOMB!
