LOL! Looks like the neighbors who have been trying to take over

golfcourse property are in high gear today. You could just hear very gentle muffled banging, which is what usually happens in HOAs when someone is doing something that isn't entirely up and up. They try to quiet their hammering or other industrious work.

In the past, when the dogs have brought it to our attention by barking, the fact that we stepped out in the patio was taken as a sign that there was no reason to be quiet anymore so the noise would get loud with indignation.

But today must be a particularly wrongful act since it got very, very silent. Best I can tell, they are clearing the way to add plants to enforce their adverse possession claims.

When this happens, I can't tell if they're really doing it on their own, or if someone from the Country Club has given them a nod of approval, because lord knows the Country Club hasn't been timorous about ploughing the back ten feet of my private property in the past, when the worst I ever did was not maintain THEIR property. We would mow the back area every now and then to cut down on stinging nettles and weeds that encroach on our property, but nothing that would fit the four prongs that it takes to make an adverse possession claim.

I guess it's wait and see. Never a dull moment in a good ole boy community.
