I'd like to see the deer get up, walk around, and perhaps the mom show up.

He promises to feed it, play with it and take care of it.

(22,063 posts)4. I'm trying to decide if this is a small Great Pyrenees,
Or a big Golden Retriever. Pyr's aren't known for their swimming, but they are known for saving baby animals.

Who's a good pupper? I hope the fawn is going to be ok. I wish we could have seen more to know that there was a happy ending for everyone.

(22,063 posts)6. There's several clips of the situation
I did see one where the fawn stands up on wobbly legs, and they said a wildlife rescue group came to pick her up.

GP or a Golden? Retrievers will retrieve anything, concluding & especially other Critters. But the high, rounded forehead makes me think that this is probably a smaller, younger Great Pyrenees.
Good catch, Bayard.
