Pulled the turkey out of the freeze last week. Today, it's still frozen. Shit. Need some wine for this.
Ran water over it in the sink. Bag of giblets broke with half of it still in the turkey. More wine. Dug them out after about 5 minutes of struggling in cold water. Need more wine again.
While the bird soaks, start the brine. Salt, white sugar, brown sugar, soy, olive oil. No soy? No brown sugar? Shit. Should've gone shopping before I started drinking.
More salt. More sugar.
Hey! I've got some steak sauce! That'll work.
Right? Right?
Add some of the wine. For me & the bird.

once my mom had a 1/2 frozen turkey when she shoved it in the oven. it did not take that much longer. i cook frozen chicken breasts in about 15m at 450. if you çån cut it in pieces.....

Put the fucking turkey in the oven and turn it on. Eventually it will be done.
