Calvados

I am having Calvados tonight with apple pie for dessert. Calvados is an apple brandy from Normandy, France. I usually add just a little water to open up the flavor. It goes great with apple pie.

and it was delicious. When I got home (Atlanta) I tried to find French ciders and as I recall had not much luck; mostly English and it just wasn't the same.
