When rainy days are Sundays... Well, we can use the rain and when I opened the door and

looked out it had let up so I went out for my walk up to the local Lottaburger to pick up our breakfast
burritos. It's only about a block away but of course it started raining again as soon as I stepped outside.
Oh well.

As I was walking along I saw a little dog all alone on the other side of the street walking in the opposite direction. After I whistled several times the little dog crossed the street and came over to me. It had a collar so I spoke softly while I petted it and checked for a tag but there wasn't one. I stood up
sadly, knowing there was nothing else I could do.

As I walked the short distance to the Lottaburger the little dog followed me and wanted to come inside with me but I didn't allow that. Meanwhile I reverted to age 7 from my actual 70, imagining taking the dog home with me since it was so sweet and so needy, but when I came out of the shop the dog was gone. I hope its owner came by looking for it and that all is well. I'd feel really bad if that weren't the case.
