(170,209 posts)I woke up and that's how the cat dish looked, completely covered in food a foot high - I guess my cat had woke me up to be fed and I stumbled into the kitchen and opened.....a whole bag (bigger than the one in the video!). The next day I remember my cat looking at me like I was nuts.

When I had to leave for a family emergency I left my kitten Clancy with the stoner next door, along with a big bag of cat food. When I returned a week later, he gave me Clancy and the unopened bag. What did Clancy eat, I asked? HE LIKES CHEESEBURGERS, the guy told me. For the rest of his life, Clancy climbed all over me whenever I ate a cheeseburger at home.

(100,980 posts)It's a long story but the short of it was that I was sleeping and the cat was sleeping at my shoulder and must have had her paw near my face; meanwhile I was having a rather tense nightmare and was challenged with physically stopping someone from doing something and apparently my defense action was to bite the (in my dream a person) on the arm. Upon making contact with her foot in my mouth I woke to that look along with hissing and several clawless slaps in the face before she jumped off the bed. She looked at me with great suspicion for days after that but she didn't leave me for several years.
I felt terrible then but it makes me laugh now.

(100,980 posts)and so is the back story of what was going on in the nightmare, which I also recall in great detail but it's personal so I won't post it online. Dream world is so interesting.

(100,980 posts)that I can barely stop enough to tell the story in person! After all the horrible shit I've been through in my life, there are several events that were so hilarious that, even decades later, they make me laugh so hard I can hardly tell the story about them.
