Everybody done digging out?

My back is killing me, but my driveway is clear.

Weird storm, it started snowy, changed over to freezing rain then back to heavy snow.

There was a crust of ice about 3 inches off the ground and another 7 inches of snow on top.

Whatta pain in the sack shoveling that crap

I really strained my back after the last storm, and then the snow and ice had the nerve to then go and melt. Just not fair.

We're due for 3-5 inches tomorrow morning. I know this happens every winter, but I still hate it. I'm not moving anywhere, but I do hate the winter.

and will do so again in the early AM. Then the fun of driving to the historic preservation group where I volunteer and doing the walk there. I am kinda hoping that they decide to close tomorrow. Science Center, County Library, Missouri History Museum, Missouri Botanical Garden and Dierbergs Grocery Chain have all closed or are closing early today.

I work at Scott and since there was such a wide range of ice /snow amounts in the area - they just shut down for non mission essential folks.

It appears there will be no 'White Christmas' in mid-Michigan. Not a drop of precip in the 10 day forecast and temps in the low 40's, at the end of the week.

I'm thrilled, because I hate snow. And, I need a new snow blower. Oh, and BTW, I hate Winter.

As I recall, last year, right around this time, the schools were closed for over a week.

Now, go soak in a hot Epsom Salts bath!

think any freezing rain is a good reason to stay inside!

here in Boston. I am working from home tomorrow so I don't have to deal with the worst of it. Besides, I am still trying to recover from this terrible cough. I was at work today, but it was pretty bad, so people "suggested" that I might want to stay home tomorrow. Just as well, it's going to be a messy commute.

Hubby said this isn’t retirement. Now its just gets cold and maybe few inches of snow once or twice lasting a day or two.

Hope your winter isn’t too bad.

It reached 82 in Coral Springs yesterday. Supposed to reach 84 today.

And I'm apparently an ungrateful S.O.B., because I don't care for the heat/humidity that sometimes sticks around into early winter.
