I'm sure she's probably doing something she loves even now. She got a lot of recognition for these, probably will be able to play for as long as she wants. I know a couple women drummers who are amazing, one has a PhD in percussion and..?

She was born in 2009/10, and did the Led Zeppelin video in 2018, so she can't be more than 10 or 11 years old now. I'm sure she's still enjoying playing drums and loving life.
She appeared on Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2019 when she was 9 years old. That would make her 10 years old going on 11. She was probably doing other things she loved when she was 9 too.

Obviously I have no real concept of time anymore. I thought the Led Zep thing was a lot older than it is! It's this crazy time warp we've been cast into, things are so dostorted, like, time itself! Every day feels like a month, sometimes a year, OMG!

Thanks for doing the math...

Believe me, without the access we have now to information I would be hopelessly lost in that same time warp.

Without Bonzo Led Zeppelin wouldn’t be the same in case of a reunion.
Yoyoka: “Hold my milk...”

Oh, my gosh! She has Bonham's foot ... and she can't even reach the pedal!!!

Making grown men cry everywhere. Triplets from an 8 year old in cute polka dot socks. Just Wow!

I was so proud of myself for getting to work 10 minutes early this morning... until I saw this.

Kudos to the parents for saying, "Honey, we're gonna spare you all that piano/violin nonsense and turn your into John Bonham instead. Just go easy on the drinking."

The rock & roll is in good hands. I can sleep again.

When I was her age,..I just played outside all day. I smashed a few of my toy trucks with a hammer and lit them on fire, just so I could respond with my toy ambulance to the staged accident scene and rush GI Joe to the pretend Hospital.

I'm 50 and I've never been this happy doing anything

This is professional therapy for depression

When I was this age I was making fart sounds with my armpit.

22. The real Yoyoka
Sat Jan 18, 2020, 04:01 PM
Jan 2020

Yoyoka is currently ten. She is not just a drummer, but a professional musician. She has already cut the three albums and is currently working on her fourth. She is doing the Phil Collins, Don Henley thing where she sings her own songs and does her own session drumming. She and her family have their own band, performing covers, and their own music. When they perform, Yoyoka will sing while she is sitting on her drum throne. She has a connection on her facebook page with Senri Kawaguchi. I am wondering if Yoyoka is thinking of performing on front stage at some point in the future with Senri on drums and Yoyoka singing.

She is currently in Anaheim at the NAMM convention in the Pearl booth. She was entertainer of the year for the HLAG organization. Yoyoka will perform live at the 2020 HLAG, which means hit like a girl, hitlikeagirlcontest.com, contest which will also be held at the NMMA this weekend. She has also been named ambassador of HLAG, selected over all the other female drummers in the world.

She is also doing commercials for companies like moncler, UNIQLO and smaller companies. She is writing and performing introduction theme songs for Japanese TV shows.

Most people just look at the covers she has posted on youtube, but she is playing gigs all over the place. If you go to this site, you can see where she has performed over the last five or so years, but this is not a complete schedule of where she has performed. This is how a ten year old can make the claim that she has performed at several hundred gigs.

This video will show you the real Yoyoka and everything that she has went through to get to where she is today. All the days of being on the road, having to study in addition to play, living out of a suitcase just to fulfill her dream.

Some people may think that she has no childhood, but look at this video and decide for yourself.

Oh, yeah, she just started a new channel for those who want to support her.
