I was driving to the neighborhood hardware store and I see my kiddo (14years old) flying by traffic on his bike with his fly rod strapped to his back...headed toward the Clark Fork River. I got home and he had done all his chores, recycling, emptied the dishwasher and fed the dogs...AND left me a note telling he hed gone fishing. Love that kid.

(53,410 posts)Youd love him even when hes too lazy to put a dirty dish in the sink, or when he drinks the last of the milk and still puts the carton back in the fridge.
I know what you mean though!

(23,297 posts)He loves it more than anything but sometimes the screen/computer etc distracts him. The weather has broken and the roads are clear of snow and hes on his bike to the river which Im grateful for.
