Don't like it to melt on the hot bagel. I like it to cool a little and then I break off pieces and put the cream cheese on the pieces. I like the cream cheese whipped and spreadable instead of dense and hard.

And I love olives in it. My favorite! I want one now, but I am sick and I'm not going to pay a $5.00 delivery fee and $4.50 service fee plus tip to deliver a $4.00 bagel w/ cream cheese. May have to go pick some up for the weekend!

Oh, also has to be from a good Jewish deli (H&H, Ess-a-Bagel or Murray's in Manhattan, as well as smaller boutique outlets) or bagel bakeries (Finagle a Bagel or Bruegger's is fine, as are some of the other genuine bakeries devoted to baking only bagels). No supermarket or commercially produced bagels.
