(612 posts)It's called the "finger wiggles" - I have one in particular that is guilty of demanding finger wiggles as soon as one iota of the bottom of the middle of the bowl is visible. After performing the proscribed action upon demand, leveling the bowl slightly, there is usually half a bowl or more of food still in it...

(34,139 posts)One of our cats only liked fresh crunchies, so if we left the bag out of the pantry, he'd chew a hole through the new bag to have fresher ones than what was in the bowl. he'd also chew through a bread bag to eat the bread. My husband ate a lot of sandwiches with chew marks along the sides of the bread slices!

(53,410 posts)He also attacks the corner of the living room rug and goes into the bedroom to rattle the mirror I have propped against the wall, then start scratching at the furniture and dashing all around the house to let me know he wants me to let him out.
When he wants to be fed he quietly sits at my feet and stares at me.
