I honestly think that was the moment a lot of people in this country finally started looking forward again. Like the game itself, along w/their performance, was a legitimate demarcation point in the post-9/11 era. The Patriots winning their first ever Super Bowl kinda added to the moment as well.

Those were the two best and I don't think it's that close (although I usually skip the hardcore pop acts, like this year). Heard Beyonce was great but I wasn't too interested.
