Tying off the theme o'th'day (SupB), reflections.

* Hmm, lots of threads objecting to the half-time show. Pop culture is not my bag, but I saw it and it was a top o'th'line packaged product. But the criticisms seem TO ME to have an anti-ethnic tinge to them. Without much delving, I've never liked Madonna's hopping, jumping, thrusting, OR her 1-2-3-4 "music." So what's the current outrage about?!1

* This Roman circus is not a preferred focus of mine and I'm marveling at how much whatever I have expended on it here. Since I endured the past week of daytime showcasing of "super bowl snacks," which I didn't plan on participating in, I will say that what I ended up with was a new-to-ME pepperoni slices out of the package (no bread), with chips and pimiento "cheese" spread. I had previously called the Armour company to ask whether it was cooked (yes). Actually, this is the equivalent of a late night cold cuts kind of thing. Pretty satisfying. Let's see what my blood sugar is in the morning!1

********ADDENDUM: Might as well finish off the leftover (from last night's SNL) mixture of merlot/sauvignon to head off any potential flaming!1
