Disneyland's Rise of the Resistance: Boarding Pass or Fail?

Okay, we have crappy phones with crappy coverage so we really didn’t think that we could do any of the virtual queuing that Disneyland had required to get a boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance ride at Galaxy’s Edge. But we braved the tsunami of people there to give it our best shot!

My son had ridden this ride in Orlando over the MLK weekend. Prior to getting to the park I had reset my password on My Disney Experience a couple of times. As if was I got to the Hollywood Studios five minutes after it opened and got in boarding group 124 and so did not ride the attraction until after 6 PM This was a great attraction.

Can't wait to see if there are any differences between the ride in Orlando versus what I experienced in Anaheim. I'm still blown away by Rise!

Here is youtube that has the view from the back of the transport. Like most riders, I was focused up front view and missed the back view

I also enjoyed the M. Falcon ride and I like Blue Milk over Green Milk

I am considered to be technologically challenged by my children. They are still amazed that I got onto the ride. My son was checking the My Disney App to keep track when my boarding group was coming up from his office.

It is a great video and I totally ignored the back half of the transport

I have one law partner and a client who I had to describe the ride.

My son has a DVC membership and is taking both of his sisters and his brother in law at the end of the month to WDW. They will be riding this ride

What I really loved is that it is more than just a ride; it's a completely immersive experience unlike any other. I can't wait to do it again!

We're hoping to see it at Hollywood Studios next year. We'll be curious to see if they're still doing the virtual queue then or not.

My son and youngest child rode Rise twice and my middle child once. Her husband threw up on the Smuggler's Run ride and my kids banned him from Rise

I went on it at Disneyland and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very similar to Star Tours in some ways.

It was a nice wedding at the pavilion at the Boardwalk. He is not a Disney fan and does not do well on rides. My daughter wants to go to WDW in October for her anniversary and it will be interesting to see how this goes

I'm sure they'll have a great anniversary. He just needs to stick to the walk-through attractions!

There are new details on each ride

Disney is cracking down on the DAS. To sign up, you all have to be in the park and the disabled member has to check in first before the rest on the group can check in. Disney takes a picture of you when you sign up and they called me by name when I cheked in
