OMG. Wild day at Birmingham Airport (UK) today during Storm Ciara: 😨😱

This one almost looked like a Harrier coming in for a landing. Those pilots deserve hazard pay for doing such an awesome job. Why didn't they close the airport?

This Emirates flight had to go around its first landing attempt. This was the second. They ended up diverting to Frankfurt, 518 miles away:

On edit: Here's another one, yikes.

Crabbing into a strong quartering crosswind. I used a slide slip as a quick and dirty way to lose altitude. It's kind of fun, actually.

One reason I hate flying! I would need months of counseling after that if were on one of those!

It is uncomfortable for passengers, however.

I would be puking in between screams of terror!

I can't handle flying, I'm not the one in control of the vehicle and, therefore, my own fate at that point. I also am rarely a passenger in any other vehicle situation. I have to have a window seat or I'll puke.

I'm glad I don't need to travel much.

Even though I love flying, every time I get on a commercial airline I realize I am completely at the mercy of those professionals in the cockpit. What if they had a bad night? What if they're ill, or suicidal? As soon as you walk into that plane you have zero control.

Um, this probably didn't help, did it?

Been on a couple of rocky flights, they are not fun. You can bet there was a wild round of applause and cheering when those planes touched down.

Geez, I was yelling at my phone while I was watching it.

I'm sitting in a recliner, and I was actually pushing back in my chair, as though I were bracing for impact.

Edited to add: I just watched the last video and I actually got nauseous. And I don't normally get motion sickness.
