So we're having weather here in Albuquerque today. We got snow as I witnessed when I got up

at 4 am and peeked out to see my car covered with 2-3 inches of the snow stuff. There was a little accumulation on grassy areas but anything that fell on pavement melted off. So the forecast was
right on, with 2 cold fronts moving in. Our high today is 35 F and it's been trying to snow more all day
but not very seriously. I saw a fellow shopper at WalMart dressed in walking shorts and wanted to make a comment but he was bigger and younger than me so I decided that maybe being a smart-ass wasn't the best idea. Besides that it got real windy with a chilling east wind making me glad to be done with the shopping and indoors cozying up to Du on my puter.

How's your local weather today?

took at trip in early April to Santa Fe which I love and wanted to show my mom and sister who'd never been there. Upon arrival there was 2-3" of snow on the ground but luckily it melted by the next day. We had a great trip anyway- did all the old town sites, drove to see a pueblo and then lunch and sites in Taos. Albuquerque I've flown through but never had a chance to stay longer, next time.

Say warm and safe!

South Dakota and we had one day when the temperature was -75 F (including windchill) so it's all a
matter of perspective. Yeah, Santa Fe is at an elevation of 7,000 feet so they can get some interesting
weather. (Albuquerque is only 5,000 feet.) Must be all that hot political air in DC that causes the humidity!

It’s snowing today...snowed yesterday and the day before and the day before...sigh....it’s Montana after all. Anyway, I do shipping for our family business and last week, I shipped a pallet of our product (we manufacture an artificial rock product) to a customer in Santa Fe, NM. It has been held up at the Fedex Freight terminal in Albuquerque finally inching its way to Santa Fe where it stalled again. I called today in inquire about the hold up and the woman at the terminal in Albuquerque told me that it was weather related and she transferred me to the Santa Fe terminal. The woman at the Santa Fe terminal told me that trucks were not moving due to weather. I asked what kind of weather and she told me that it had snowed. I asked her how much snow had fallen and she said they’d gotten 2 inches in Santa Fe. I was like, “For real? 2 inches?” and she said yes...that no one even came into work because of it...she was there alone. Wow!

I should tell you that we had a little laugh at NM’s expense because, well, as I mentioned...we do snow up here...from Nov 1st through March and sometimes longer. You will, however, find us crying when it’s 90+ degrees. We’re not used to that. I’m sure it is a mess to deal with down there when it doesn’t snow often. I hope it clears up for you guys.

in Red Lodge for awhile, where they have summer skiing in the Beartooth Mountains. But I learned to drive in snow in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (20 t0 30 FEET of snow each year is normal.), in South Dakota and Wisconsin. I scoff at people here in NM too. One inch of snow and they shut down the interstates where I'd be driving sensibly and safely if they let me. At least they do care about safety so that's good even if I scoff...

If we get a chance we can scoff at North Dakotans too!

More snow but the difference is temps are going to drop down to teens during the week as your go up to 40-50 later this week.
I am looking at ABQ as a possible retirement which is still out in the future
It seems like a nice place and your winters are not brutal like it can be here
I did hear when I was out there for work that everything shuts down in ABQ if it’s more than a few inches of snow
I was like What?
