(34,386 posts)no matter what. Rosie came to live with us last year. I hadn't planned on another cat, but the woman who had her had to enter assisted living and couldn't take her so it was either me or the Humane Society and I couldn't let her go there. She's fit in great. She's only 2 and very playful. She's a good match for Otis who is quite a character and like a bull in a china shop. Sammy had a really rough start in life so she's really tiny--about 5 pounds and is kind of dainty. Otis is a 20-pound galoot. Rosie loves to play chase with him so they're a good match and Sammy is happy to be out of their way. I keep worrying my downstairs neighbors will come up to complain about the elephant stampede upstairs. Good thing my building is solid, lol.
Looks so cuddly! What soft fur. I have one with soft fur like that and can't keep my hands off her.
Keep spoiling those little shelter babies!

(34,109 posts)and his friend Watson. We rescued him in December. We don't know a story nor do we know what he is exactly but he is the best dog ever! I do not need another heart, I am content with the hearts I have so please pass one along to someone else. I just wanted to post this picture.

(23,668 posts)I dread the day my girl leaves. She's 14 now.

(23,668 posts)And yes, she has a stubby tail, but she's beautiful. Will be 14 in April. Love her to bits. Her original name is Baby Girl (BG) now I call her Old Girl (OG). Was abandoned by her Mom and found her dehydrated lying almost dead on the driveway next door. She's been my pal ever since.
