1. Very funny... My dog is 10 years old, and...

... She's wicked smart, but never learned how to push open a partially closed door. She's never really tried and always looks to me to open doors for her. If the space is too small for her to slip through, then she immediately looks to me for help. She respects barriers. I'm actually kind of grateful about this, because if she does it once then hell will break loose from that moment on. She's very ambitious otherwise.

She's a mini-pinscher with really long legs and is a mountain goat-like jumper... But, she has never tried to jump up on my coffee table to snag part of my meal... I don't think she understands the concept of jumping up on hard surfaces... Only soft surfaces, like furniture, my couch, and my bed. I don't think I need to enlighten her about this ability at this point.
