of 47 years to live with me, half way across the country, because her former partner and the grandkids they raised together, now teenagers, were being very abusive to her. She is 75 and deserves some fun and respite from raising nasty mouthed teenagers. So we just spend a week in Florida visiting old friends of ours and had a wonderful GROWNUP time, without adolescent hormones and resentful ex hormones gumming up the works. She will be safe and happy from now on, and I'll be happy too, because I love her and love her company!
So I know it was nice, but it was also a bit selfish because I got so much out of it. too!!
