I'm thinking of getting an "Apple iPhone 7 Plus"; upgrading from my el cheapo Motorola.
My phone company (?) has it for $250, or $10 down and $10 a month for 24 months.
They only have it in "Rose Gold" color.
DESCRIPTION

(10,188 posts)Its about 2 yrs old but never got anything like that for battery life. Talk, I guess that means active; its on, but not in constant use. Id say I take it in the morning and depending how much I use it, might last till I go to bed at night. Wont make it that long if Im using it much. But definitely standby time is nothing like 16 days. Even if Ive turned it off, itll be dead in 3 or 4 days Id say.

I'm still using my iPhone 6S (256 GB) and it works like a charm even though I've had it for 5+ years.
Good luck and have a heart before they go away!

(31,147 posts)Has been a good phone although not too impressed with the battery life. If I leave everything on I need to charge it every night.

(19,564 posts)I'm not upgrading until it dies or 5G rolls out in my area. Whichever comes first.
It's solid for me. I use all the features, pushes, Internet, email, text and phone. I also play games on it daily. I do have to recharge it now (it's 3 years old, I think?) about every 24- 36 hours, but other than that its great!
Slap a case on it and you'll never see the color if it's unpleasant to you. I don't even remember what color my phone is anymore.

Color doesn't matter ... get a good protective case
Water resistance is very nice
You'll come to love Touch-ID
Cameras are better that average
The number of amazing apps available will stun you
You'll discover dozens of apps you didn't know you needed until you try them
Everything from weather to navigation to music
Enjoy!

(36,827 posts)I really can't tell much difference between the two other than the 8 has a slightly larger screen. They even take the same accessories. I can't imagine the 7 being much different.
My 6 was still going strong and it was the first version of it. The only reason I upgraded to the 8 was to get more memory. I don't like the newer ones that lack a home button. I'll probably keep my 8 until it stops working. Given how reliable all my previous iPhones have been I suspect this may be a very long time.
