First snow of the winter.

Its snowing right now in southeastern Virginia. First time this winter. Its supposed to just be a few inches, should not be an issue.

This time I checked my emergency generator is good to go.
Last time we lost power, I found I had stale gas in there and had to take it apart and clean the carburator during the storm..

And then the temps will nose dive and we could get snow by Wednesday. Guess I won't bother with any outdoor chores, quiet yet. Guess I will bother to get that new snow blower out of the box, and figure out how to assemble it.

It's almost the equinox already. The trees outside my place have buds forming already, and I'm an hour north of the 45th parallel.

First it was the ones closest to the house. Now, they are popping up quite a distance from there.

I'll be thrilled if I have blooms, right around Easter, but I'm not going to count on that happening.
