Imported Mexican Coca-Cola @ Costco ... it's worth the extra price.

Why is it better? Is it because of the real cane-sugar instead of corn syrup? Does the glass bottle preserve the flavor better (or not tinge it with a metallic taste?) Is it that the glass bottle helps to keep it colder than an aluminum can would?

Or... is it all in my head? Is it just that I prefer the retro tactile experience of holding a glass bottle... and the unique way it feels to drink from a bottle compared to a can?

And, if you need to recap and save some for later, those glass bottle hold their fizz better than the plastic ones.

so assuming the imported stuff is still made with "sugar" instead of HFCS, it is probably that.

In the past I've preferred imported Coke and Pepsi to domestically produced versions, but I don't drink much soda so I haven't even tried to find them recently.
